MOSCOW, May 13 – RIA Novosti . The ruble started the day strengthening against the dollar and the euro, but then both currencies retreated somewhat from their lows, according to the Moscow Exchange data .
So, at the opening of trading, the dollar for the first time since February 2020 fell below 63 rubles – to 62.63, the euro traded at 64.94 – the minimum since June 2017.
But by 10:10 Moscow time, both the American and European currencies began to grow: the dollar added 41 kopecks, rising to 63.71 rubles, the euro rose by 1.02 rubles, to 66.28.
On the eve of the ruble grew at an accelerated pace due to the specifics of the ratio of supply and demand in the domestic market.
